Few highlights: exploring some nearby beaches together and jumping into the very cold waves; sharing daily life (going to Wash ‘n Web to do laundry and internet; frequent trips to Pick ‘n Pay for grocery needs); jogging around the neighborhood and Rondebosch Common; eating foods Rachel can’t get in Uganda (like cheese and pizza and wine and fresh farm peaches); hiking up Table Mountain on a blazing hot day; and being weird and laughing – a lot – together.

OK, J&J, you two are having WAY TOO MUCH FUN down there in S.A.! Maybe we'll have to come and visit you sometime...probably not this year, but do you think you'll still be there in 2009 when we get back from the States (we're taking a year-long furlough so Dan can get some more classes in and to strengthen support)?
Anyway, we miss you TONS and wish we could have been with you at Christmas (although we had a very relaxing time with the Grubbs and others here!).
