This flower and tree is the beautiful and very fragrant Frangapani. (Look familiar, M&H? Don't these also grow in Hawaii?)

Some pix of our neighborhood
Rosebank, the Cape Town suburb in which we live, is quiet and full of many homes going back 100 years or more. Our apartment block itself is over 80 years old.

We recognize that flower or a very similar one, but call it plumeria. In Hawaii, if you are a single lady, you wear one over your ear on the right side. On the left means that you are taken.
Thanks for the pictures. It's especially fun to always see hiking pictures. Pretty amazing coastal scenery.
