You may have noticed I added this item to our “recent eats” a couple of weeks ago. Jim found the recipe in Food and Home (South African magazine) and, inspired by memories of our visit to Lebanon back in ’04, decided to try it. Though it required a few unusual ingredients (like rosewater), these little date-nut stuffed pastries turned out very well and received positive comments from the friends that we shared them with. Nice job, Jim, and keep it up. I’ll eat them anytime!
